Family Justice Center Receives Donation from HTC Employees to Assist with Center Mission
July 26, 2024, Conway, S.C., – HTC, the area’s largest fiber internet provider, announced that the Cooperative’s employees donated $1,500 to the Family Justice Center of Georgetown and Horry Counties.
In 2007, the Family Justice Center was established as a unique collaboration among various organizations and community members, all united to create a safe and welcoming refuge for victims of domestic abuse in both Georgetown and Horry County. The center’s mission is to significantly reduce the number of deaths and injuries caused by domestic violence.
In July, employees made a generous donation of $1,500 to the Family Justice Center of Georgetown and Horry Counties from the Jean Day Fund. This contribution aims to support the center’s vital work in providing essential assistance to domestic violence victims and furthering its mission to prevent such tragedies.
