Our pledge to serve the communities in which we live and work is the cornerstone of our Cooperative’s heritage and culture. Our core value of community commitment means we give unfailing devotion to the communities that have made our success possible. 

This commitment can be seen in our Helping The Community initiative that includes quarterly blood drives for the American Red Cross, food drives for local food banks, sponsorships, scholarships and partnerships. From support of non-profits in the community to an increased focus on employee volunteerism, there are many ways HTC is realizing our vision.

In 2022, HTC Employees donated $36,000 to organizations that provide support to the area. We raise money through voluntary deductions – a “Jeans Day Fund”. Every employee that donates gets to wear jeans on Fridays (and who doesn’t love a casual Friday?) Below are highlights of the worthy causes that have received support from our HTC family.
