HTC TO AIR AUDIO OF CONWAY HIGH SCHOOL BASEBALL AWAY GAMES ONLINE
HTC is proud to announce that all Conway High School Baseball games for the 2009 season can be heard online at www.htcnetracer.net starting Thursday night when the Conway Tigers play in the IP Classic held in Georgetown at 7 p.m.
Ashley Smith, along with color commentary from Andy Smith and Jay Castello, will provide audio webcasts of all Conway High School away baseball games as well as play-off games at home or away.
“I am very excited about working with HTC and announcing the baseball games this year for Conway High School fans. It will give me a chance to do something for Conway. I love announcing the games and have learned so much from Mike Green, veteran announcer for the Conway Football Team. He has given me his blessings to do this for the school, and we hope Tiger fans will log on to the sites and get their baseball fix,” said Smith.
“I think Ashley Smith will certainly do a great job with the audio for the games. He not only understands athletics, but also Conway Athletics having participated and supported our athletic programs over the years. It will be interesting to give people access to the games even when we are on the road. And that’s the whole idea to promote interest here at home,” said Conway High School Athletic Director, Chuck Jordan.
“We know how important Conway High School athletics are to the fans, and we are extremely excited about this unique opportunity to air the audio of all the regular season away baseball games this year exclusively on www.sccoast.net and www.htcnetracer.net,” said Tom Vitt, HTC Director of Marketing.
