Success Continues with Blood Drives Sponsored by HTC Employees
On Wednesday, February 11, HTC employees hosted a successful employee blood drive at the HTC main office in Conway. A total of 42 pints were collected by employees for the American Red Cross. This blood drive will help save up to 126 lives in Horry County alone.
“Donating blood means so much to those in need, and it truly is an opportunity to impact the lives of those in the communities HTC serves,” said Lisa Beverly, HTC Marketing Coordinator. “Giving blood doesn’t take much time, and each donation has the power to save as many as three lives.”
In 2008, HTC employees donated more than 180 units of blood to the American Red Cross. According to American Red Cross records, HTC has donated more than 1574 units of blood since August 1998.
