HTC Digital Cable Adds HD Channels

HTC adds two highly requested new channels and five new HD networks to Digital Cable lineup.
HTC Digital Cable is excited to announce the addition of seven new channels to the line up including Oxygen, MLB Network, G4 HD, Versus HD, E! HD, Golf HD and MLB Network HD. All seven channels are free and available to most customers as long as they subscribe to the package that includes the standard channel. With these new HD networks, HTC Digital Cable now has a total of 49 HD networks in the lineup.
Oxygen (Channel 139) –Now available as part of HTC Digital Passport on Channel 139. Oxygen keeps consumers connected to what’s new, now and next in entertainment and pop culture.
MLB Network (Channel 97) –Now available to all customers with a digital set-top box on Channel 97. MLB Network is the home to America’s pastime and will keep you covered with everything baseball for the entire year. MLB Network will air 26 live games throughout the season and will include new exclusive programming such as MLB Tonight and Hot Stove. MLB Network is also available in HD on Channel 897.
G4 HD (Channel 730) –G4 is the one destination on television that feeds an addiction for the latest must-have tech gadgets, web culture and video games. G4 pushes the boundaries of TV to bring fresh and original shows with groundbreaking interactive features.
Versus HD (Channel 764) –Versus is the national cable home of the National Hockey League (NHL) and the Stanley Cup Playoffs as well as best-in-class events such as The Tour de France, Davis Cup Tennis, the Professional Bull Riders (PBR), World Extreme Cagefighting (WEC), the Indy Racing League and Professional Boxing. The network also offers collegiate sports featuring nationally-ranked teams from top conferences such as the Pac-10, Big 12, Mountain West and Ivy League. VERSUS features the best field sports programming on television and is a destination for sports fans, athletes and sportsmen to find exclusive, competitive events that audiences can't find elsewhere.
E! HD (Channel 850)
Golf HD (Channel 852) –The Golf Channel, the leader in golf tournament coverage, is the home of innovative, insightful and entertaining programming, including news, instruction and original specials and series.
MLB Network HD (Channel 897)

Subscribers can also note that HTC Digital Cable no longer charges the $3.95 monthly fee for Premiums on Demand. All Premium on Demand programming is bundled in each premium package at no additional charge.
Currently, HTC Digital Cable gives subscribers access to more than 200 channels including 46 CD quality, commercial free music channels. HTC Digital Cable also offers DVR (digital video recorder) HDTV (High-definition television) and VOD (Video on Demand). The DVR lets you record your favorite programs, view programming whenever you want and pause, and rewind live TV. HDTV makes a huge difference with brighter colors, sharper picture, and crystal clear digital-quality sound.
