We are thrilled to see that hundreds of fans have already taken advantage of this unique opportunity made possible by our friends at HTC,” said John Rhodes, Beach Ball Classic Executive Director.
“Our records indicate that more than 259 visitors from 16 states logged on during the Holiday Invitational game. These statistics show an exciting beginning to a full week of games for the Beach Ball Classic. Video and audio captured at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center is encoded on site and sent over HTC’s fiber optic network to a media server at HTC’s Headquarters. The feed is then made available in a streaming video format over the Internet.
