HTC Receives Renewal for Gold Certified Partner Status in Microsoft Partner Program
HTC, today announced it received a renewal for the Gold Certified Partner status in the Microsoft Partner Program, which recognizes HTC expertise and impact in the technology marketplace. As a Gold Certified Partner, HTC has demonstrated expertise with Microsoft technologies and proven ability to meet customer needs. Microsoft Gold Certified Partners receive a rich set of benefits, including access, training and support, giving them a competitive advantage in the marketplace.
“Only companies that have demonstrated high levels of customer service, proved their experience and attained advanced certification receive the designation of Microsoft Gold Certified Partner,” said Allison Watson, corporate vice president of Worldwide Partner Group at Microsoft Corp. “Today, Microsoft recognizes HTC for its skills and expertise in providing customer satisfaction with Microsoft products and technology.”
As a requirement for earning Gold Certified Partner status, HTC has declared at least one Microsoft Competency. Microsoft Competencies are designed to help differentiate a partner’s capabilities with specific Microsoft technologies to customers looking for a particular type of solution. Each competency has a unique set of requirements and benefits, formulated to accurately represent the specific skills and services that partners bring to the technology industry.
HTC is skilled in three competencies including Information Workers Solutions, Mobility Solutions, and Networking Infrastructure Solutions. HTC renewed the Information Worker Solutions competency and demonstrates proficiencies in Microsoft information worker technologies. Specializations within this competency include Search, Data Visualization, Enterprise Project Management, Portals and Collaboration, Office Solutions Development, Enterprise Content Management, and Office Systems Deployment. HTC also renewed the Mobility Solutions competency in proving an expertise in developing and deploying Windows Mobile-based solutions and applications using Microsoft products including Windows Mobile software for Pocket PC and Smartphone. And HTC renewed the Networking Infrastructure Solutions competency in implementing solutions based on Microsoft’s Windows Server 2003 or Windows Server 2008 Operating Systems, or Windows Small Business Server 2008 and Essential Business Server 2008.
